The Jazz Age Lawn Fest

I've seen this on just about all my favorite blogs, and you'll soon see why...

The Jazz Age Lawn Fest happens in Manhattan every year. Folks show up in their vintage finery, roll out old cars, and have a downright Gatsby-esque lawn party. It's vintage fabulousness.

Adorable Detail

A quick little detail, that made me smile. A couple designs an adorable wedding logo consisting of two raccoons, and has it screenprinted on the inside of the groom's and groomsmen's vests, and engraved into the groom's wedding ring:

Superhero Themed Wedding

I friggin' love this wedding. I spotted it a few weeks ago, but have been a bad blogger and haven't yet shared it.

I spotted the wedding on Green Wedding Shoes (which I've really been digging lately), with photography by Jagger Photography.

Things I love about this wedding:
1) The clever cereal bar and names for the cereals (Cocoa Kryptonite, Mr. Freeze Frosted Flakes)
2) The wonderfully bright, cheerful colors.
3) All of the backdrops for their photos. Amazing!!!

An Up themed Wedding and Flying House

I love the sense of whimsy in this wedding, which I found on Green Wedding Shoes. There are several things I love about this wedding:

1) The bold use of color, esp. in the bridesmaid ensembles with the pops of yellow and bright orange:
2) The bride's shoes:
3) Their adventure book/guest book!
4) The bridesmaids' fabulous tights!

All photography by Lehua Noelle.

I saw this wedding pop up the same week as this incredible story by National Geographic. A team of engineers and balloon pilots made a house fly, just like the movie!!! I love the series where the house gets higher and higher. It flew for an hour and reached an altitude of 10,000 feet.
